Do I need planning permission for an indoor pool?
Indoor swimming pools will be subject to planning and building control applications. This includes new builds and change of use.
If you are planning to add an indoor pool to your home inside a new building/extension, known as a pool hall, you will need to contact your local council for planning advice.
